Lazy Sunday Afternoon
Thought I’d upload some more photos. Enjoy (we sure are!)

Well it’s 3:16 AM and the Harrod household is buzzing with activity, looks like Baby Harrod will make his or her appearance sometime today. We’re heading to the hospital within an hour or so. =0)
Tracy had another good report from her appointment today. Baby weighs 2 Lbs, 13 ozs. This puts him or her in the 73rd percentile! You can check out more pics here.
We had our second doctor visit this afternoon and were blessed beyond words to hear our child’s heartbeat. The nurse told us before she began, “Please don’t be worried if I don’t find the heartbeat right away - sometimes it’s hard to locate.” As soon as she put the doppler microphone to Tracy’s belly, we heard Baby’s fast, steady, and strong heartbeat. The nurse even remarked, “Wow, that may have been the quickest I’ve ever been able to find it!”

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:13-16
The rest of the appointment went very well, the doctor was satisfied that everything was progressing as it should. Our next appointment is just under four weeks away. Please remember our family in your prayers:
Grace be with you,
Joe & Tracy
Tracy had her first visit with the doctor today and everything seems to be going fine (thanks God!). The official due date is October 1. I’m calling September 29th, remember, you read it here first. We go back in four weeks and should be able to hear our son or daughter’s heartbeat for the first time. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
Well, for those of you who haven’t yet heard, Tracy and I are parents! We are expecting our first child, “Baby” Harrod, in late September or early October. It is amazing the range of emotions that we’ve already experienced, and we are only eight weeks along the path.
We hope to keep this weblog updated fairly regularly as we track Baby’s first nine months of growth and change and are already grinning about the day when we can post his or her first picture for the world to see.
Blessings in Christ,
J&T
